30 posts · Joined 2022. #1 · Aug 8, 2023. So I swapped to a p59 pcm into my 0411 truck and I found it to be very worth while, especially with using an 06 cluster in tandem on an 02 truck. So I thought I'd share what I learned. I use open source free software universal patcher and pcm hammer with my obdxpro gt.
I just got done swapping a 0411 PCM into my 99 OBS 5.7 L31 Suburban 4x4 with 4l60e with A/C, and Pushbutton 4x4. Everything works so far, throttle response is way better, driving is smoother, and 0-60 times is much faster. 97-98 PCM's cost 700-800 $ online and are infamous for bricking, so i decided to go for "0411 swap" - a newer generation of PCM, installed on many GM 99-2002 vehicles. Since the S10 pickup has different number of cylinders, has physical throttle cable (corvette has DBW) i have to change the Operating system completely.

Personally if I had one I’d give it to ya for shipping cost. The 0411 swap is worthwhile. It’s rather complicated though. An odd thing to try. It’s worked on many cars that have codes that refuse to clear in Chevy and Dodges we tune at the shop.

411 97 LT1 swap. So I swapped a 411 ECM with O/S 12212156 into a 97 Z28. The car fires and idles but runs like a dog and has horrible throttle response. I've adjusted as much as I can possibly think of so far but it feels like I'm chasing my tail. Any help would be appreciated.
Definitely, i have everything done, from the c1 c2 c3 c4 lt1 pins, to the c1 blue and c2 red 411 pcm. The 411 is a way faster pcm, its been used in many gm cars and trucks. Hp tuners even has an autotune option to fine tune ve's on the go. You have to license the tune that you want to use and you have to license the PCM. The only way to use the segment swap feature is if the tune on the PCM is the same OS as the tune you want to use. I don't believe the V6 os and the V8 os are the same. so you wouldn't be able to swap segments. I could be wrong though.May 12, 2017 · There will be a ZN4 code on the sticker if that is the case. I pm'd lextech a couple years ago and he sent me the spread sheets. You do have to add a couple wires from the gear indicator to the PCM. Either down on the switch or from behind the instrument cluster so that the 0411 knows what gear it's in. The black box didn't care. My big question is; everyone says the have been getting their info/pcm for doing the swap from "Lextech." Try to find a variant of the 2156 OS that had your 5.7 liter LS1 engine in it from GM (this DOES exist) and also contains whatever transmission you desire. Otherwise, you will need to do a segment swap or try to fix checksum errors with Universal Patcher. Or simply edit your 8322 OS and move ahead.I used a 5.7 van tune to start. After those two its just spark and transmission really. Wait to tune your WOT areas until you have a wideband. 99 5.7L 1500s were in fact made. GM offered both the GMT400 and the GMT 800 body trucks in 99. My friend has a 99 K1500 with a 305 in it that came factory with a 9.5 SF rear and a 5spd.
