The 77otm (non SMK) seemed too good to be true so I didn't even try it. The actual 77gr SMK AAC shot just slightly worse out of my gun than the 75gr ... I've had good success with the 77gr OTM. Shot a 20 shot group that was 1.3 MOA while still breaking in my 20" Kreiger with a 1-8 Trijicon Credo.

Probably one of the reasons why the M118/M852/M118LR cartridges don't use cannelured & crimped bullets. The original Black Hills MK 262 MOD 0 ammunition used the 77gr. SMK without cannelure. So did all of the 77gr. SMK MATCH ammunition I have used in the past but I don't know about the latest MATCH loads.

The 69 gr logged 2969 FPS with an SD of 12. Both very nice velocities and standard deviations. At 500 yards, (we'll have to confirm this again) the 69 gr appeared to have a little edge over the 77 gr. Both of the loads creamed our SMK come up of 3.5 mils. The 75 was good, wouldn’t quite call it match ammo but shot pretty great for me. It’s awesome. Almost shoots as well as the iwi. Use at least a 20" barrel to get in very accurate shots at 600 meters.
