The sound is loudest around the front passenger area. Someone recorded a video with the same exact sound that I'm hearing. They never posted about whether they found what was wrong or not. Noise sounds like a whining or belt type noise. Sounds sort of like an old turbocharger noise. I DO have that “rattle “ when I start the car and I understand that that problem is likely the VCT Actuator,,,, but will this also cause the whining noise too? ... Remove the little door that covers the fuse panel. turn your ign to the run position, then try to crank it over. If the buzzing noise is coming from the fuse panel, and the car wont crank over and start, you need an ign switch.
