I guess they are getting complaints from Z06 owners about buzzing/rattling with the OEM shifter (I was not getting any until I put in the MGW) and the solution is to go with the C6 shifter box. I also heard that the 2010 Z comes with the standard C6 box. Anyway, go for the MGW, and keep us posted.-Matt

All of the factory shifters are vague, and long throw, so if you're willing to put up with high resistance, I recommend the MGW. To me I didn't like the high stiffness with my MGW.
