It's not a bug. You cannot get eddies from this shard. Actually it does give 10000€$. A player is supposed to hack it and then click on it in the backpack to have the money transferred. Not sure why the OP is not getting it, but I had no issue getting the money myself whether it was during or after the Pickup mission.
