Holo toppers, holo glitters & unicorn skin toppers have all been done to death by so many indie brands (and usually for a cheaper price too) and the creme releases look so thick and awful to apply. I soak my hands in warm water with a little bit of a moisturizing hand soap (just a few drops, it seems to help soften up the skin) then use the Sally Hansen cuticle remover. I leave it on for about 30-45 seconds even though the bottle says 15 seconds, then push the articles back and wash hands. I do this once a week.
