Steam has recently released an update that breaks the hosting on Linux. I can only recommend hosting a dedicated server instead or waiting for Steam to push out a fix. Alternatively, install an older Steam Client version if possible Can you please provide any deeper explanation? At least we can open a ticket on steam on linux github.
