Jamming probability curve has been completely rewritten. In vanilla a 90% M16 only has a 50% chance of getting through a magazine without jamming. Now guns only begin to jam at 75% or 70%.

I'd recommend starting with a shotgun, since the spread will help to hit a few zombies in a shot, so you'll gain aiming experience much faster than a pistol or a revolver. The sound radius is quite massive, so be ready to face a lot of zombies. Oh yeah, don't walk while you're aiming, since it'll reset the aiming process.
