The 2 best options are the original Battle brawlers game and Defenders of the core. battle brawlers is the best at matching the gameplay of the show. But it is a bit repititive and simple, though still quick to beat. -Defenders of the core is a 3rd person 3d fighter game similar to the dragon ball games. 1.
While it's not really a Bakugan-type gameplay at all, it builds STRONG nostalgia and makes you love the pre-evolution forms of the New Vestroia bakugan that were never shown in the anime. I recommend playing it. It's just a regular fighting game, after all, but boy does it feel good to face the level's threat and go "BAKUGAN, BRAWL!!!!"

So my love of bakugan was revived thanks to the new bakuproject game this lead me down a sink whole of nostalgia I absolutely loved this game as a kid to the point I cut a gate card and asked my mom to stick it to my shirt so I can have my bakugan on my shoulder (yes I was a weird kid _>) anyways since I played the game I decided to restart my collection … Masquerade will clap Spectra if it's the very beginning of NV. Alpha Hydranoid is easily stronger than helios and Masquerade is a much better brawler than Spectra. Masquerade would always find interesting loopholes in the battles, exploit the enemy's weakness etc. Spectra was all about adding mechanical upgrades and hoping it works this time.
