The covenant of the Inheritor - looks like a medal, is in the slot of Usable items 1 of my companions carry because it gives aura for +2 caster lvl checks to overcome SR and also gives everyone Good align weapon status. So it boosts both our MC and all party vs demons.

It is possible (with a ton of patience and time) to level yourself up to level 20 with it before you even leave the crusader camp for the first time in act 2. I don't know if that would bug out the rest of the game but maybe the devs need to look into this. I tested it and leveled my character to level 7 after I got the item before I left the camp.
