I was sworn in to my department in December '82 so I believe I purchased it within plus or minus one month of 12/15/82 (most likely minus, or Nov. '82). The serial number is 250XXX. (edited to conceal last three numbers).

The best that the Dan Wesson people can tell me is the late 70's to early 80's.
