What you have they call the red triangle of death unfortunately. This is telling you at the hybrid batteries have failed and will need to be replaced in the vehicle to fix this issue. It is a design flaw and unfortunately it is not covered under warranty or extended warranty anymore.It almost seems like the electric motor is keeping the engine running and when the electric motor stops the ICE starts to die so the electric motor kicks back in to keep it going. It will do this for about a minute or 2 then the ICE will turn off and the red triangle and stop safely now comes on.
