no. as long as one of the group is not tagged and cursed nobody else is either. I don't think that's true. I went in as a trio once with a dude who only had a pistol in factory and we were immediately rushed by 3 scavs. Unless that was recently changed.
Tagged & Cursed Question. I have a question about being "Tagged & Cursed" in a match. The general consensus is that if you have less than three important items equipped (firearm, backpack, armor, helmet, rig) that you will be "Tagged & Cursed". I have experienced this, losing my kit several times and spawning in hoping for a come-up.

Whoever is going to be tagged/cursed comes in with nothing but ears usually, in my group at least. They'll get a gun, armored rig, helmet, and backpack usually. It's something we just rotate around and it helps us pull more scavs. Plus it's fun to say "I'm giving you a loadout" and handing someone a tricked out m4 and whatnot.
