He confirmed that I definitely have the wrong booster, our supplier should have sold us the PB8536-1 which is for 66-70 b bodies. 70-74 E bodies and 71 -74 B bodies take the PB8536-2. He didn't have both handy to make a comparision as they are a drop ship site.

Well at least the headlight switch is handled. I'm still pretty sure someone has 'jumped' or spliced into the paring light wire to power up the dimmer. The parking lights are designed to go out on '68-'69 MoPars when the headlights are on. That may be why the dash lights are only on when the H/L switch is in the 'Park' detent.

Pre-1969 cars have a Shipping Order number instead of a VIN. Engine and Transmission . On the 1966 and 1967 B-Bodies you don’t find VIN stamps on the engines or transmissions; only cast numbers and date codes. This is for 68 to 70 B-Bodies, since nothing else matters. :grin: Belvedere VIN is always RL, Belvedere Police is RK, Belvedere Taxi is RT. Satellite VIN is always RH, Sport Satellite is RP. GTX VIN is always RS. Road Runner VIN is always RM. VIN don't lie. RM is RM. 21 is a Coupe, 23 is Hardtop, and 27 is Convertible.I only see a very small amount of damage, but I am concerned with the rad support.
