G30s vs g30sf.
The only difference is the 30s has a thinner lighter slide, both have the same frame, if not wrong both are considered gen3 there is no gen4 out yet. I had both including the g30 gen4 still my fav is the g30s.
Using a 13 round G21 mag in my G30s regularly. No problems. I recently bought a HK 45c to replace the Glock for carry, it is slimmer and I hope it conceals better as soon as I get a holster (VM II on order). I shoot the HK slightly better than the Glock, but both are very accurate and very reliable.

The G30SF frame of the G30S uses most of the same internal parts of a Gen4 G30. It is the same externally as a Gen4 G30 without backstrap, without Gen4 grip texture, and without the larger Magazine Catch and its right-side installation option. The G36 slide of the G30S is lightened and less bulky because it is designed for 45ACP.
Good for carry but not shooting. The G30s I did own but sold it. Its lighter than the G30sf and I could tell the difference in the felt recoil. Even the about 3 oz. makes a difference at least for me. I like the G30sf over the G30 that I also sold. The G30sf is probably the best and most accurate Glock that I have owned and I have owned 27 of them.
