Often times taking multiple attempts. To start with I would open the radiator cap and make sure it is full, right up to the top. Then keep the overflow bottle level at least to the min line.

The coolant level needs to be checked. If low, then fill and bleed the air out of the system. If full, there can still be air in the system from the Thermostat change out.
