4746 posts · Joined 2006. #14 · Mar 30, 2021. The nice thing about the 60 and 795 is that they apparently were profitable while retailing for less than the 10/22. Hopefully, Ruger realizes that there are a lot of people who won't pay the price of a 10/22 but will pay the price of a 60 or 795.

I took my 795 to the range for the first time today. The LSBHO worked after the very first mag. Then after that, it stopped holding open. The first batch of ammo we shot was really old and dirty POS Remington ammo (really really old, really really dirty). Then the second batch after that was new, never-been-opened Remington .22 target ammo.

I just did the Mcarbo kit on my model 70 PSS (papoose). It dropped my trigger pull from 5 lbs 14 oz to 3 lbs 8 oz. It also eliminated the creep. I did a little minor polishing while in the action.
