Remove the shift motor from the lower front of the engine/transmission. (It is very simply to remove with four 10mm bolts). Once you have it off, remove ALL the old, gummy, stiff, grease that is in the shift motor gears. Then replace that grease with a liberal amount of All-temperature White Lithium grease.

2008 420 Rancher ES, less that 50 hours on it. When idle it will shift through the gears just fine. When moving slowly, like creeper slow it will also shift gears. However once you begin moving over 3-MPH or so it will no longer shift. I changed the angle sensor, no luck. Shift motor seems fine because of it shifting when idle.
