The referral bonus for referring a shopper in NJ at that time was $850. I had to complete 50 batches within 30 days in order for her to receive the bonus. Long and pathetic story short, I ran 53 batches between 1/4/21 and 1/31/21. She was also going to refer my other daughter because the bonus had gone up to $1000.

Back in the day we dealt with IC via phone and I've always kept the number in my contacts. And that's it. 100% a scam. Shoppers are not allowed to purchase any type of Gift Card. I almost feel like this is an attempt to scam Instacart rather than myself, since it will be refunded and I was never charged more than the original $60 hold fee.
