It depends on whether I play coop or pvp, but I prefer qbz97 over the AKM. It has higher muzzle velocity. Due to how the game calculates long range shooting, muzzle velocity is an important stat. This game is a hybrid of hitscan and real projectiles. Up to a certai Mp7 and the likes of MP5 or the Honey Badger are good for breacher. M4, Aug, G3 and AKM are good picks for Demolitions. L85 and MK18 I'd say are probably the only two advisor guns I'd use personally myself. L110, SVD and MK14 EBR are good semi auto rifles for Marksman. The one downside to advisor is the heavier hitting rifles can't get drum mags like rifleman, so some might say its best to play advisor more like a designated marksman IMO.
Far cry 3 and 4 are great open world options with realistic modern guns, and has viable revolvers. They're also fairly long, being around 20 - 30 hours each. Titanfall 2 may be stretching the realism but it also has a really good campaign with great guns, and it's on gamepass. It is quite short however, around 7 hours.
If you opt for the warden set you should expect to be shot by friendlies mistaking the hood for insurgent gear.
