I have a SP2022, read and post in a lot of SP2022 threads, and have never heard of such. SIG's 2012 catalogue states (paraphrase) "smaller grip included" with gun. This would lead one to believe that the higher the number, the smaller the grip. Or maybe mine was reversed.
