Hi, im working on a 2000 sterling, with a cat C10, and the jakes are not working. I have no codes with ET, the fuse is good, i have power into and out of the jake on/off switch, I have power to the med/low/hi switch and out. I had a customer with a brand new Pete with a 1LW. When cold, the Jake would stick everytime until warmed up. If I remember I installed a tune-up kit and cured it. 2005 250 Super Duty Crew. CCV re-route, and 4" Magnaflow turbo back.Also, my Jake brake won't come on or when it does in higher rpms it comes on and goes back off after a few seconds. Usually it just won't come on at all. The truck is set to trigger it pressing the brake for 2 seconds. Very frustrating. You'll recognize me because I have to go down hills in very low gear very slowly.

Hi, I have a Peterbilt 387 with a C15 500HP single turbo.. and the jake brake worked but it was very weak.. then it stopped working period. I took off the valve covers, checked the wiring and put a new tune up kit into the brake. When the engine is started and I press down on the solenoid button, only the middle solenoid works.

The Jake brake doesn't seem to work under 1800-2000 RPMs then will kick in and be very strong but will kick in and out every 2 seconds, like someone is turning the switch off and on.
