39 Weeks - FTM - Lost Mucus Plug. At my last appt on Thursday we did a membrane sweep and I was 1cm dilated and 60% effaced. Well today I noticed I lost a small chunk of my plug! It wasn’t bloody just the normal clear like a big booger Lol I am hoping this means I will start labor in the coming days.I started losing chunks of mine at 36 weeks. Went on to have a spontaneous labor that started on 39+1. I had blood in the mucus plug the day before labor started so I’m assuming that was “bloody show”. I had a sweep 2 days ago and was 1cm, almost 2-3cm. I started losing my mucus plug later that day. I'm still just crampy in and off like I have been for almost two weeks, nothing else. Labour is near mama. Regardless of what you are feeling it's coming!! I lost my plug after my 38 week sweep.
