NeoVim, out of the box, is still Vim. It just has slightly different default settings. The big differences are in the extensibility of NeoVim, something that won’t matter a whole lot to you until you start to use plugins. Something like LunarVim is appealing because it’s a curated set of “one size fits most” defaults.

I'm using nvim-lspconfig for using them. They work just fine when oppened from my /home directory. But not from /run/media/HDD. The LSPs installed by mason will work just fine thought.
