The Chevy Cruze did have some major problems reported with the intake manifold but the car was never recalled because of this issue. This happened in the first generation Cruze models froM2011 to 2015 which consumers gave a bad reliability ranking. The reports givens were that the intake manifold had a missing air check valve and it would cause numerous problems with the 1.4-liter turbo engine.Move the clamp about 15cm down the hose. Remove the hose and lube it with a little new engine oil. After sliding it on all the way, move the clamp back up. If it is still fighting you, use some heat on the hose.
