And I became a battery.Fully charged contra top tree vortex grenades will double proc pretty much everything, like your arm mods, well mods (one grenade makes 4 Wells if it kills early and also on the last tick), and contra itself with double refund. So stun -> grenade -> wait/kill other stuff, unless you get a full refund -> repeat/finish off champ.

You'll still see some phoenix protocol in high end content cuz wells are still amazing. Don't sleep on stasis though.
This gets you easy invis and health regen, pretty much a constant uptime on double damage (assuming there's ads around), great major damage because of really quick grenades, oppressive darkness galore, and an excuse to try out rat king for once. If you're not using void weapon, Contraverse Hold is a great option. Throw it a high health target and it'll proc twice, fully refunding nade energy. Might be better in high level content where you're not mowing down ads fast enough to stack Verity buff. If you're a scatter nade fan, Nothing Manicles were recently fixed and work really well.

Kind of one of those builds that until Bungie straight tanks it, it's just hard to not use once you're used to it. You will very rarely see Nezarac’s yet will often see CHol in Day 1 raids and GMs for example. Doesn’t mean people don’t us it and Nez is great. But simply put, Contraverse is better.How it Works. Holding in a magnetic grenade turns this into a Handheld Supernova. With Contraverse Hold this is going to return half our grenade on use. Grenade kills also generate orbs of power and grant volatile rounds to void weapons. Orbs of power give Devour and armor charge stacks. Devour kills can return grenade energy if need.Elemental wells have made Contraverse Hold even stronger, because now you get grenade energy on hit, and on kill. One grenade kill is worth, at the absolute minimum, almost 50% energy return.
