Around 80gr or BH209 will get pretty close to 100gr of Goex depending on bullet weight. As the bullet weight increases the performance gains become more noticeable. If i was going to buy 1 powder for both a sidelock and an inline it would be Swiss or Olde Eynsford. Swiss cost about the same as Triple7 around here.
Dixie is testing Blackhorn 209 powder now. The results look outstanding indeed. We are also planning to test Black Dot later. There is no crud buildup (like 777) with Blackhorn 209 at all. This is the only domed plug that I know of that will work with BH 209. That is in my long range hunter (basically an exteme as far as the bolt goes)

The 240gr XTP MAG has an even thicker jacket than a 250 or 300gr SST. According to Hornady it is made for upto 2100fps. I hope you ARE NOT weighing out 90grs and thinking that it equals 90 by V. Use the Blackhorn 209 web site for information on the conversion from volume to weight.
