The Whirligig is my favorite strength weapon in the game. Be aware that it does have a somewhat slower move set along the lines of a halberd or two-handed axe, but turns most giant beasts into pulp. The untricked mace form offers a fairly swift attack for a strength weapon though. All of the weapons are viable.
