Dodge durango intermittent starting problem.

Crank n crank but no start 2017 3.6. So I've narrowed it down to the fuel pump is not priming when ignition is turned on. When I dropped the tank I decided to turn on ignition and the damn pump kicked on. I replaced the pump anyways since I was halfway into it. No problem with the exhaust hitting the underbody. Tried remote start while under the car to no avail. 3. The last intermittent problem would be the transmission would get stuck in 3rd or 4th gear after driving on the highway. It'd start off fine but after being on the highway the problem would occur. When I'd slow down to a low speed or stop the D would sputter and then stall or I'd have to pump the gas to get going. Once going it'd start off slow.

I got it to start and run for about 3 seconds but then it turned itself off. I found a way to start it on this site by putting it to run mode and then starting it, that works okay but if I paid 27k for a car it needs to work as intended. This also leads me to think if it has problems now what's gonna happen 5 years down the road.

So the problem I’m having is intermittent starting. It always starts if it cranks. Battery is good. Starter is new. I believe the signal is not getting to the starter.
