The van spent 6 weeks at my local garage and over 3 months at Honda. The local garage replaced the VTEC solenoid, cleaned the filters changed the oil, did an engine flush and changed the oil again. After $1800, it ran worse than when I brought it there. The garage said that the next thing required was a PCM reprogram but they did not have tool.
