Possible concerns/causes. Milky colored==water in fluid. Darker gray with metallic flecks===gear grinding.

I used Mobil 1 75W90 full syn at approx 40,000 miles when I did a transfer case change. All current gear oils like this are GL5 rated.I purchased my 2019 Touring new and have no transmission fluid leaks or abnormal shifting concerns which may have indicated an incorrect factory fill to begin or a low level if there were leaks.
