Several hunters told me to ensure my camera's firmware was up to date, and my memory cards had been formatted before leaving the house. This is a must.

To update your Spypoint camera firmware, go to the Spypoint website and download the firmware update file. Connect your camera to your computer using the USB cable and copy the firmware update file to your camera's memory card. Insert the memory card back into the camera and turn it on.
