M-49 Ithaca I have an Ithaca 22 ,Model 49 short barrel level action rifle that shoots short, longs and long rifle shells. it is in very good condition the only wear is on the aluminum ,(paint is wearing off) bore is in good shape and the wood is perfect (no scratches or nicks). #150972 What is the value of this rifle and what year was it made?

The black painted finish on the receiver frame is missing in several locations, which makes it seem worse than it is. The 18" blue steel barrel is very good with sharp clear rifling in its bore. The grained hardwood stock is very good.This is an Ithaca M-49. It’s a .22LR Caliber and except for a couple of light rust spots is in about 90%. I ran into this one at a LGS/Range. Sticker price started out at $100.00 plus tax. Back in the day these sold for $19.95 to $50.00 depending who you believe.
