I've been going through the FanEdit.Org Alien section, and there seem to be a lot of well-received edits of the prequels. I also heard of a "chaos edition" of both movies that was taken down because the creators wanted to work on them more. "Paradise", a combination of Prometheus and Covenant centering on David, was also pretty popular.
