It's my fault for adding too much litter and not resetting the weight sensor. Thanks to OP's comments, I was able to remove some litter, pop the lid, manually rotate the ball, put it back together and the robot finally ran a cycle and is all good now. 2. Share. DeCostaH.
The pinch sensors are simple, just two metal leafs that separate when a pinch is detected. The leaves however can get out of alignment or can corrode and disintegrate. Since our cats show very little interest I’ve rolled the dice and just bypassed the pinch detectors since they failed last. With most litters, the clean litter should be below the suggested line. This fixes the issue a lot of the time, even when it doesn’t look to full -make sure the bot is not touching the wall or anything else -make sure the bonnet is on correctly and seems tightly snapped -make sure the bag is hooked on the 4 notches, below the tray.

I cleaned the contacts and still had pinch fault. The pinch wiring feeds to the dfi board so I replaced the dfi board and pinch alarm went away. I also had the red,yellow light. It turned out that I partially pulled out the dfi plug on main board when putting it back together.

The buttons are completely unresponsive.Take the screws out of the base. Unplug the wire from each pinch bar and remove the bars from the plastic slots. Now take some pliers, tin snips, or whatever you have laying around and cut a clean, non-corroded piece of the pinch bar off so you have a small piece of metal.

You can get a replacement DFI and pinch contacts from HERE . I highly suggest restoring the pinch contacts to their manufactured configuration.
