I have a 1990 Gamefisher 15HP outboard that starts for a minute or two and stalls carb has been profesionally cleaned, rebuilt and tuned, im having trouble getting solid info on who built the motor so i can find parts for it. I checked the compression, it's got 109/110 psi, but no spark on the lower cylinder. The plug wires come from under the flywheel, unlike my newer motor, also a Force/Gamefisher 9.9hp.

I am trying to calculate how much oil to mix with the fuel for my tiller engine. I have a six gallon fuel tank and my engine is labeled 50000:1. Re: Parts for Gamefisher 15HP IMO , you should keep that motor and get your uncle to show you how to work on it . As a learning experience , it would be priceless . As to the economics of repairing that Force versus buying a running 15 hp , in my area they generally go for ~ $700 - $900 , depending on brand and year .

The linkage connection bolt wasn't tight so when I would shift in forward it would slip. Same with reverse, and that's why It would either freeze in forward, or neutral and wouldn't shift out of it.
