You will need to provide the fuel pump relay with another source of switched power, as the Jeep ECM is not providing one now. A wire from a hot wire will work fine to switch the relay over.

You have to enlarge the wiper arm post holes and use YJ wiper arm/blades and the YJ wiper arm linkage. The CJ motor is still used.

I've found that the 4.0L runs best on champion copper plugs. The same kind that it came with. Since your XJ is a 2001, it won't have plug wires or a distributor but instead has a coil pack ignition. As far as the E3 plugs or other fancy ones, thats your own decision.

ALL 4.0 engines use the same belt. If the vehicle was an "AC delete", an idler pulley was put in place of the compressor. And-----there is NO WAY to "reroute" a shorter belt to bypass the need for the idler pulley. This topic comes up about every 2 months, and the answer is always the same---get a new/used compressor, or get a AC delete idler.

Mar 4, 2014 · There are a lot of misconceptions about the E05 TSB. It was only to replace the gear on the OPDA within the date range on 4.0L engines. If yours is within those dates it probably has already been done. Last week my 2002 WJ 4.0 4x4, 140,000 miles, started having low oil pressure at idle. I was at a stop light and the "check gauges" light came on. I pulled over and checked my oil level and it was good. The oil pressure would rise with rpms but would go back to almost zero at idle.it's the last step to fixing a steering issue. Check tie rod ends first, on both the tie rod and drag link. WIthout the correct tools or the CORRECT knowledge on how to adjust a steering box you will do more damage than good. 9/10 mechanic's will swap the box out instead of adjusting..Morris4x4 I think was @ $130 and qualified for free shipping.
