Has anyone had any experience obtaining the revised replacement? I understand it’s supposed to remedy some of the cycling issues encountered when using setting 2 on the regulator.

The SFAR will likely take a little modification. Mainly a different handguard to fit a rifle speed gas system. I can’t speak for the victor but Springfield guns are usually adequate. The Ruger SFAR is not really anything new. POF did the same thing with the Rogue, and DPMS did the same thing even before that with the DPMS Gen 2. The added handguard compatibility with an AR-15 is nice, but no, the AR10 is far from dead. The large frame AR may not have a "standard", but there is a TON of aftermarket for LR308/SR25.
