The Birmingham Police Department announced a justifiable homicide ruling in a recent shooting death. The BPD stated the Jefferson County District Attorney's Office ruled the death of Dametrice Broadnax, 30, as a justifiable homicide. The shooting took place about 2:35 a.m. on Feb. 5 at a home on 4th Avenue South in the South East Lake community.
