I had a situation where my litter robot 3 would get stuck mid cycle upside down with the red timing light on. Turns out I bought a new type of cat litter with seem to be a little more dense and I overfilled it a bit so I had to scoop some of the cat litter out then it started working fine. All with the red and yellow flashing lights. It would just start to cycle-stop than, flashing lights. Get 1/4 of the way into a cycle, flashing lights.
