It is a very nice marina with a pool, clean showers etc. Very short ride to Smith Island approx 25 - 35 minutes. Needless to say, within a day it was covered with maggots, they ate everything from the inside out and the crab stunk up the back yard for a week.

You would be amazed if you took a small scale and weighed various 8 oz sinkers. Ones made with alloy might only go 6 ozs. Pure lead also pours better and melts at a lower temperature.

Most guys used 30 lb mono in spring / summer - then put on 30lb Monel for late fall / winter. It's a good reel for spring - I'd stick with lighter lures - up to say 10 ozs. Not sure it will handle big umbrellas.
